- Keep a secure grip: Hold the handle throughout use. Never grab the moving line or wrap it around fingers, hands or any part of the body.
- Keep close near hazards: Shorten and secure the line near traffic, people, other animals and obstacles.
- Prevent tangles: Keep the line clear of legs and other leashes. Do not let your dog run to the end of the extended line.
- Choose appropriate use: Use a fixed-length leash if your dog pulls strongly or is difficult to control.
- Clean gently: Follow the supplied care instructions. Do not immerse the housing, and let the line dry before storage.
- Supervised walking only: Do not use as a tie-out or vehicle restraint. Replace the leash if the line frays or any component becomes damaged.
