Setup & Care Tips:
- Check before walking: Inspect the line, clip, housing and controls. Follow the supplied instructions and confirm that the braking mechanism works before each outing.
- Keep a secure grip: Hold the handle throughout the walk. Never grab the moving line or wrap it around fingers, hands or any part of the body.
- Shorten near hazards: Keep your dog close and lock the line short near traffic, other animals, people and obstacles.
- Prevent tangles: Keep the line away from legs and avoid allowing it to cross other leashes.
- Avoid sudden pulls: Do not let your dog run to the end of an extended line. Use a fixed-length leash if your dog pulls strongly or is difficult to control.
- Clean gently: Follow the manufacturer's care instructions, remove dirt from the line and allow it to dry before storage. Do not immerse the housing.
- Supervised walking only: Do not use as a tie-out or vehicle restraint. Replace the leash if the line frays or any component is damaged.
