Turn a few treats into a little treasure hunt with this fleece snuffle ball. Tuck dry kibble or small dog treats between the fabric folds and let your companion sniff and search during a supervised activity at home. Its rounded shape offers a playful alternative to a flat snuffle mat.
Benefits:
- Sniff-and-search play: Encourages your dog to use their nose to locate hidden food.
- Fabric hiding spots: Fleece folds give you places to tuck small treats and vary the searching challenge.
- Soft texture: Fleece adds a tactile element to supervised foraging.
- No charging required: Non-electric design works without batteries.
Details:
- Product type: Spherical snuffle toy for dogs.
- Material: Fleece fabric.
- Available sizes: Small and Medium.
- Food compatibility: Dry kibble or appropriately sized dry dog treats.
- Water resistance: Not water resistant; use in a dry area.
- Operation: Non-electric; no batteries required.
Setup & Care Tips:
- Start simply: Place a few treats in easy-to-reach folds and let your dog explore at their own pace.
- Adjust the challenge: Tuck food slightly deeper as your dog learns the game, keeping it accessible.
- Count portions: Include food used in the ball in your dog's daily allowance.
- Supervise every session: This is a foraging activity, not a chew toy. Remove it if your dog tears the fabric or tries to swallow pieces.
- Choose a suitable size: Do not use a ball your dog can fit entirely inside their mouth.
- Remove leftovers: Check the folds for uneaten food after each session.
- Follow the care label: Check the manufacturer's instructions before washing and let the toy dry completely before reuse.
- Inspect and store: Stop use if fabric frays or components loosen. Store out of your dog's reach between sessions.
